Greatest birthday gift!

November 27, 2016

Cool story this week! For my birthday, my sweet grandparents sent their testimonies translated into Korean on little pass out cards. HOW COOL!  I’ve been able to share them with lots of people, and they LOVE THEM!  My favorite experience so far:
We were visiting a less active member in the hospital. She’s been sick for a long time and is super old! We decided to just sit and read a chapter from the Book of Mormon together, because she loves to listen to us. We had finished, prayed and were on our way out the door, when I thought to give her my grandparent’s testimony card! So I read it to her and gave her a copy. Then the patient next to her, heard the testimony too! As we were leaving, the patient (another older grandma) asked if she could see the testimony card! I was able to give her a card and bear my own testimony and she accepted a Book of Mormon too! Then, later that week we went back to visit the less active again and when we walked into the room, the grandma who had received the Book of Mormon, was reading from it! WHAT! It was so cool to see her reading! We sat down and were able to read the introduction of the Book of Mormon and teach part of the first lesson. It was such an awesome experience to be able to bear not only my testimony, but my own grandparent’s testimony half way across the world. (THANKS GPOPS AND GMA )
I love the Book of Mormon, it’s the keystone of everyone’s testimony. It has become the biggest resource when I am lacking direction and in need of comfort. I know it’s the word of God, and I know by reading it consistantly, we are able to find the path to true happiness.
