July 27, 2016 – Week 9 Korea!!!!

HEY FAM!

Okay yeah, so I really don’t have much time. But I’m in Korea and life is good. I just got back from proselyting for the first time –haha– I don’t know any Korean… but oh well.. I will learn with time. I got to hand out a couple Book of Mormons and say “hi” to everyone. So that’s good. It is good though because it feels like home already, which is actually a big surprise. I thought I would feel very out of place and uncomfortable, but it’s actually the opposite. So far, I’ve loved all the food and oh, also I think Heavenly Father sent me to Korea because of my hair. People stop and look at it and it creates good opportunities to talk. I don’t feel overly stressed about anything, so that’s good news too. The Madsen’s are awesome, and they already feel like family (my mission president and his wife).

Please keep praying for me with the language, I need all the help I can get. Tomorrow I’ll get to meet my trainer and then I’ll be on my way to the area! Then I’ll be able to give more of an update on what it’s actually like next week.
